oneplus nord oxygen os 12 beta

After a long wait from the OnePlus Nord users, OnePlus has finally pushed its first beta version of the Oxygen OS 12 for OnePlus Nord.

OnePlus has released this update after completing the Oxygen OS 12 updates for its flagship devices like the 8 and 9 series. As well as cancelling a major merger of OS between Oppo and OnePlus.

While a lot of us would be happy about the cancellation of the merger, OnePlus had been struggling with regular updates for its users.

With the Unified OS to stand cancel, OnePlus has got back in the game and we expect fast and regular updates to come by soon to every OnePlus device.

From Oxygen OS 12, we can also expect the software from OnePlus to come back to its original stock android feel

While you will see a lot of features and UI same as the ColorOS 12 for this specific build, we expect a closer to stock android experience by the time Oxygen OS 13 is released by OnePlus

What is an Open Beta

The open beta allows users like you and the developers from the OnePlus Team to test and tune the software to reach a final stable build (without any bugs or issues)

The Open Beta Build would allow OnePlus Nord users to enrol in the program and receive OS 12 for testing.

Based on your experience, you will be providing feedback to the OnePlus team in order for them to fix issues and bugs in the software.

Do note that you should avoid being a part of the Beta Program if you are using OnePlus Nord as your primary device.

When Will the Stable Build of Oxygen OS 12 Rollout for the Nord?

Beta Testing is a very important stage for any company to deliver the best experience a user expects from the phone.

This beta testing generally takes a few weeks to complete and OnePlus would be tuning the software to its standards.

After the Final Build is done, OnePlus will roll out this OS in a staged manner. This basically means that it will deliver this software in an OTA (Over-The-Air) Update to a few handfuls of users, see if it’s working well for them, and then deliver it to all of the other OnePlus Nord Users.

We will be updating the same in our future articles when the update is ready to roll out. You can stay updated with our Telegram Channel to get instant updates for OnePlus Nord.
